Our Medical Priority List is designed to assist customers who rely on life-sustaining medical equipment that requires our utility services. If you or a family member have a medical condition that necessitates the use of electrically powered medical equipment, you may be eligible for our Medical Priority List. This list will be used to mark accounts that have critical medical needs. The list does not guarantee utility service during outages. It is for us to be mindful of the unique challenges faced by our customers with critical medical needs during a power outage. To be added to the Medical Priority List, we require you provide documentation from a healthcare provider confirming the medical necessity of the equipment. We are committed to supporting our customers' health and well-being during power outages.
To register for the Medical Priority List, please fill out the application form and drop it off or email it to us
Once we receive your documentation, we will review it and contact you if we need any additional information. We will also confirm your registration on the Medical Priority List. Please keep in mind that being on the Medical Priority List does not guarantee power restoration during an outage, but it helps us recognize the customers with critical medical needs.
While we strive to restore power as quickly as possible, we recommend that customers on the Medical Priority List have a backup plan in place. This may include having a generator or alternative power source available, as well as ensuring that you have necessary supplies and medications on hand in case of an extended outage. We also encourage you to stay informed about weather conditions and potential outages by following us on social media.
